Baba Farid University of Health Sciences was founded through legislation approved by the Punjab Legislature in July 1998. The University’s mission is to establish a stimulating intellectual, academic, and physical atmosphere that promotes the unrestricted exchange of ideas and information among diverse University faculties, as well as between this University and other Health Sciences Universities both nationally and internationally. Eligibility Criteria:-
The following shows the conditions required for the candidates to be eligible for the Counselling Process for the state of Punjab:-
- The admission to MBBS/BDS Courses shall be open to candidates who have qualified NEET-UG and are eligible as per Punjab Govt. notifications and subsequent amendment(s)/ corrigendum(s) and as well as Punjab Govt. Personnel Department letter dated 06.06.1996.
- Merely applying for admission to MBBS/BDS court based on NEET-UG will qualify the Candidateslity. The Admission Committee will determine a Merit of a candidate for entry strictly per the rules and regulations laid down by the Punjab Govt. Notification(s) as published in this prospectus and other documents as are required with the ADMISSION APPLICATION The Admission Committee shall conduct counselling/Admissionsittee constituted by the Punjab Government for this purpose.
- Age: As specified in NEET-UG.
Application Fee
- The admission Application Fee of Rs. 5900 (Rs.2950 for SC candidates), including GST @18%, will be deposited only through the online payment gateway.
- The admission Application Fee will not be accepted in any form after the due date/time.
- Only those Admission Application Forms will be considered for counselling, the fee for which has been deposited by the due date/time.
- No request for accepting the Admission Application Forms after the due date/time will be entertained.
- Mere deposition of the fee will not entitle the candidate to claim admission.
Once deposited in University Account, the fee will not be refunded/adjusted in any case.
