UP NEET PG Service Bond and Seat Leaving Rules
- Service bond: Candidates admitted to government medical or dental colleges must serve in the state for 2 years after the course.
- Bond penalty: Rs 40 lakh for degree courses (MD/MS/MDS/DNB) and Rs 20 lakh for diploma courses if the service is not completed.
- Seat leaving: The last cycle brochure carried a Rs 5,00,000 penalty for leaving a government seat after the second counselling or at any point during the course.
- Stray vacancy: Candidates allotted a seat in the Stray Vacancy round who do not join lose the security money and can be barred from the next year’s UP counselling.
